Tegrity to Kaltura Migration

January 09, 2020 at 11:34 AM
Dear Campus Community,

Dear Campus Community,

In July we moved from Tegrity's lecture capture solution to Kaltura. Due to unforeseeable migration delays, it was necessary for us to leave Tegrity available for the summer and fall 2019 terms for viewing only access to videos that had not yet been migrated to Kaltura. During this migration process, only videos created prior to July 11, 2019, were migrated from Tegrity to Kaltura. At this time there are only 26 videos that were on Tegrity prior to July 11 that have not been migrated. but will be migrated on January 19, 2020.

All other migrated videos can be found by going to the Blackboard My Institution page and clicking on the My Media module in the middle top of the page. For more information, we have some training materials on our website at https://uca.edu/it/services/instructional-technology/kaltura/ and we will be posting available training dates soon. If you would rather meet with someone one on one before training dates are published, please email Jenny Brewer at jbrewer1@uca.edu

If by chance you did record new videos after July 11, you will need to make sure those are downloaded to your computer before Monday, January 13, 2020. Tegrity will take down our server completely on this day and Instructional Technology, nor Tegrity will have access to any of our content that was not migrated. More information on how to download your recordings can be found on the following website http://help.tegrity.com/kb/can-instructors-to-their-own-backup-devices

If you have any questions, please email desupport@uca.edu.

Thank You,
