Email Phishing AttemptsJanuary 02, 2020 at 9:46 AMDear Campus Community,
We are seeing a spike in email phishing attempts. The majority of attempts use an email address and/or name similar to an employee of UCA's email address. They start by asking simple questions like "Are you around?" or "Are you on campus?" If the recipient responds, the scammer then asks for help in getting gift cards or other items.
Please pay careful attention to suspicious emails and particularly the sender's email address.
If you have any questions, please contact the IT Helpdesk at 501.450.3107, itsupport@uca.edu, or http://uca.edu/go/itsupport/.
Thank You,
