Wireless Maintenance

Dear Campus Community,

IT will be updating some wireless configurations tomorrow, 10/10/18, from 3:30 p.m to 4:30 p.m. Some UCA-owned workstations that are connected to the domain (primarily laptops) may be unable to connect to wireless following this update.

To avoid issues following the maintenance, please connect your workstation to UCA's wireless network before noon tomorrow, 10/10/18, and leave it connected for at least 2 hours.

If you are unable to do this and your workstation will not connect to UCA's wireless network following the maintenance, you will need to follow these steps:

1) Plug in your workstation to a wired connection.
2) Shutdown and restart your workstation
3) Login to the network.
4) Leave your workstation connected to the wired connection for at least 2 hours.

If your workstation still will not connect to the UCA wireless network following these steps, please contact the IT Helpdesk at 501-450-3107, itsupport@uca.edu, or http://uca.edu/go/itsupport/.
