Network Issue ResolvedJune 28, 2019 at 2:57 PMDear Campus Community,
Today we experienced a policy error by our firewall partner, Palo Alto. A Palo engineer pushed a change without authorization that erased all of our firewall mapping policies. We had to manually rebuild all of the mappings which took a few hours but most services should be restored at this time. While we continue to validate the rebuild, please let the IT Help Desk know if you have any issues with any of your services. We apologize for the inconvenience and terrible timing with year-end processes and rest assured we will escalate this issue with Palo to eliminate any future occurrences of this problem.
If you have any questions, please contact the IT Helpdesk at 501.450.3107, itsupport@uca.edu, or http://uca.edu/go/itsupport/.
Thank You,
