Windows 10 Upgrade - ReminderFebruary 09, 2023 at 7:11 AMDear Campus Community,
This is a reminder that tomorrow tonight, Feb 10, 2023 at 11:00 PM, we will begin upgrading Group 4* campus-owned Windows 10 computer operating systems to Windows 10 release 21H2. Any Windows computer already at version 21H2 or 22H2 will not be upgraded. To see what version you are using please follow the additional information link below. The upgrades will be applied to all desktop and laptop computers that are connected using the wired network or connected using secure UCA wireless.
Upgrades will be started between 11:00 PM on Friday and 5:00 AM Saturday. We ask that you leave your Windows PC powered on during the weekend. This will make the upgrade process much smoother.
The final upgrade group is scheduled on Feb 24, 2023. If your PC does not begin an upgrade tomorrow, it eventually will be.
The update process should take no more than 4 hours to complete. That is starting from the time it begins downloading the update to the point you can log back into the computer should take no more than 4 hours. After logging in after the update the user will see "Hi. Welcome." as it updates the user profile, adding up to 40 minutes for that initial login.
