On Monday, August 22, 2022, UCA IT will be working two distinct maintenance efforts.
Voice Over IP (VoIP) Maintenance (5:00pm-7:00pm)
On Monday, August 22, 2022 from 5:00pm-7:00pm. Windstream will be performing tests of UCA’s VoIP phone system redundancy. During this maintenance period, expect intermittent VoIP phone and desktop connectivity. If you experience issues following the maintenance period, please contact the IT Helpdesk as detailed below.
Firewall Maintenance (11:59pm-4:00am)
UCA IT will be performing network firewall maintenance, Monday, August 22, 2022, from 11:59pm - 4:00am. During this time there will be intermittent outages impacting network connectivity and the ability to reach the internet from campus or the ability to access university hosted services from off campus. Services potentially impacted are VPN, VoIP phones, single sign-on for GMail, Banner sessions, Navigate, Blackboard, etc.
During the maintenance Windows wireless connectivity could be impacted as well.
